Cristina Gutiérrez Finds New Dakar Project

Spanish rally driver Cristina Gutiérrez has found a new home with Santana Racing following the premature end of Dacia's Dakar program.

After Dacia unexpectedly ended its Dakar program, Spanish driver Cristina Gutiérrez (Burgos, 1991) had to seek a new project aligned with her aspirations. The experienced rally driver, who knows what it's like to carve her own path in motorsport, has now joined the Spanish Santana Racing team, which made its debut in the 2026 Dakar rally.

Gutiérrez, who recently debuted in the Baja Aragón with her new T1+ vehicle, is preparing for her first major test with the Rally of Morocco. She aims to continue demonstrating her capabilities among the best drivers using the experience gained over the past two years in the demanding rally-raid competitions. rouesnews.click
