Rays' Caminero Sets MLB Record With 6 Homers

Tampa Bay's Junior Caminero has become the youngest player since 1900 to homer in six straight games, hitting a 425-foot shot to left field on Wednesday night. The 22-year-old Rays star will celebrate his 23rd birthday on Sunday and joins Ken Griffey Jr. (1993) as the only players under 23 to accomplish this feat.

Caminero, who has 24 home runs this season, is the first Tampa Bay player to homer in six straight games since Carlos Pena in 2010 and the first in MLB to do so since Rafael Devers in May 2024.
