Palace in talks with Lens boss Sage

Pierre Sage, who led Lens to second in Ligue 1 this season, is the current target for Crystal Palace as they seek a new manager. The Frenchman inherited a Lens side that had finished eighth and transformed them into title contenders, finishing just six points adrift of Paris Saint-Germain while also winning the Coupe de France.

Sage, who was in charge of Lyon for just over a year before being sacked in January 2025, is understood to be keen to join Palace.
