Larson Leads Kernels with Third-Place Finish

Mia Larson led the Mitchell High School girls golf team with a season-best 3-over-par 75, finishing third at the Hub City Invitational. Maddie Childs also had a strong performance, shooting 77 to take fourth place in the field of 36 golfers from seven schools. afnews.co.za

Aberdeen Central won the team competition with a score of 295, followed by Mitchell at 323. The Kernels competed with only five golfers due to two players being unavailable. Mitchell's next event is the Sioux Falls Washington Invitational on May 4 at Willow Run Golf Course.
