Chelsea captain Millie Bright has announced her retirement from professional football at the age of 32, ending an 11-year decorated career with the club.

Millie Bright, who joined Chelsea in 2015 after starting with Doncaster Belles, made 314 appearances and won 20 trophies during her time at Stamford Bridge. The defender expressed readiness for a new chapter, stating she never wanted to fight for any other badge.

Bright, who earned 88 England caps and won the European Championship in 2022, will remain involved with Chelsea as a trustee of their foundation and club ambassador. A tribute is planned for the club's final WSL match against Manchester United on May 16. asg-reflektory.pl
