Illinois coach Brad Underwood struggled to hold back tears following his team's heartbreaking 71-62 loss to UConn in the NCAA Final Four.

Underwood admitted he was "sad" and that "endings stink" following the defeat. Despite holding UConn to 35.5% shooting and winning the rebounding battle, the Illini's offense collapsed with a poor 19-for-56 shooting performance.
