Oilers Lose Hyman, Anticipate Draisaitl Return vs. Knights

Edmonton will miss forward Zach Hyman in Saturday’s game against the Vegas Golden Knights, while star centre Leon Draisaitl is expected to return to skating soon.

Hyman, 33, has 31 goals and 20 assists in 57 games this season and played 16:40 in the Oilers’ 3-1 win over Chicago. Draisaitl, 30, has 35 goals and 62 assists in 65 games before a lower‑body injury on March 15 and is slated to resume skating in the coming days, though he will not travel on the final road trip.

The Oilers enter the contest tied with the Anaheim Ducks atop the Pacific Division and sit three points ahead of the Golden Knights.
