Michigan Star L.J. Cason Out for Season with Torn ACL

Michigan guard L.J. Cason has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after suffering a torn ACL against Illinois in late February.

Cason suffered the injury during the first half of the matchup against Illinois. Although he briefly returned to action in the second half, he was ultimately ruled out for the rest of the campaign. The No. 1 seed Wolverines advanced to the Final Four without him. Cason is scheduled to undergo surgery on April 9 and faces a six-month recovery timeline.
