Ghana's Addo Arranged Germany Friendly Over Breakfast

Ghana coach Otto Addo revealed that the upcoming friendly against Germany was arranged quickly after both teams were drawn into the same World Cup group. "We set it up over breakfast in Washington," Addo told reporters, noting that Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann asked about the possibility of a test match.

The dual-citizen coach, who was born in Germany but has Ghanaian heritage, called the upcoming match in Stuttgart "very special" as he lives in Dusseldorf. Ghana lost 5-1 in their previous tune-up but Addo remains optimistic, stating "We have nothing to lose" in their tough World Cup group with England, Croatia, and Panama.
