Former UFC champions Demetrious Johnson and T.J. Dillashaw revealed why a highly anticipated superfight between them never materialized during their respective reigns.

Johnson claims the UFC refused to pay him a million dollars for the bout, a demand he made after Dana White proposed the fight at a 2016 press conference.

Conversely, Dillashaw recalls discussing the matchup during his coaching stint on "The Ultimate Fighter," though the fight ultimately fell through after Cody Garbrandt defeated Johnson.
