Vinberg Signs New Long-Term Spurs Deal

Tottenham Hotspur winger Matilda Vinberg has signed a new long-term contract with the club, continuing her journey with The Lilywhites after joining from Hammarby IF in January 2024.

The 23-year-old Swedish international has made over 50 appearances for Spurs since her arrival, helping the team reach the Women's FA Cup final in the 2023/2024 season. Vinberg expressed her happiness about extending her contract, stating, "It feels amazing, obviously, I'm very happy here. It was an easy decision for me to extend my contract."

The winger has continued to develop under new manager Martin Ho and is expected to play a key role as Spurs aim to climb the Barclays Women's Super League table. The North London club is next in action against Arsenal in a derby at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday evening.
