Dodgers Deny Exaggerating Injuries to Manage Pitchers

Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts and president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman are pushing back against claims that the team exaggerates injuries to manage their pitching staff for the playoffs.

Roberts called the allegations "so not true," emphasizing the team wants healthy starters available immediately. Friedman clarified that while they track fatigue, they do not have a rigid schedule for when pitchers should miss time.

He stated they aim to maximize games played while preparing for the postseason.
