Dubois Escapes Supplementary Discipline

Washington Capitals forward Pierre-Luc Dubois will not face supplementary discipline for his hit on St. Louis Blues' Robert Thomas, who also received a penalty for his role in the collision.

Washington Capitals forward Pierre-Luc Dubois will not face supplementary discipline for his Tuesday hit on St. Louis Blues forward Robert Thomas. Dubois received a match penalty for attempt to injure, but Blues reporter Andy Strickland reported Wednesday that no further punishment is expected.

Thomas was injured on the play but passed protocol and was deemed healthy by head coach Jim Montgomery. The Blues forward also received a two-minute interference penalty for initiating contact with Dubois. Dubois has appeared in 20 games this season with four goals and five assists.
