2026 World Cup Betting Preview

The 2026 World Cup, set to begin June 11, will be the biggest sporting event in the US since sports betting's 2018 legalization, with numerous betting options available for fans.

The expanded 48-team tournament features 12 groups of four, with top two teams and eight best third-place teams advancing to the round of 32. Six groups still have TBD teams to be determined in March playoffs, which could significantly affect odds.

Current betting recommendations include South Korea (+350) to win Group A despite Mexico's status as host, and Switzerland (+125) favored in Group B where the TBD team could range from Denmark to North Macedonia.
