Masvidal Hypes Kevin Vallejos as Future UFC Featherweight Champion

Jorge Masvidal praised Kevin Vallejos after his dominant first‑round knockout of Josh Emmett at UFC Vegas 114, calling him destined for featherweight championship glory. The 18‑1 Argentinian earned his UFC contract with a first‑round KO in the Contender Series and has since racked up three straight wins, finishing Giga Chikadze and Seung Woo Choi, before facing Emmett.

Masvidal said on the "Death Row MMA" podcast that Vallejos “made it look like Emmett brought fists, and he pulled out a gun and started shooting,” and that if Vallejos doesn’t become champion, he doesn’t know what else matters in the sport.
