McCarthy Switches from No. 9 to No. 18 with Giants

J.J. McCarthy, who created a game-day alter ego dubbed "NINE" based on his jersey number, will switch to No. 18 with the New York Giants. The change comes after tight end Isaiah Likely claimed No. 9, reflecting the NFL's recent policy allowing skill-position players to wear single-digit numbers that were previously reserved for quarterbacks and kickers.

The number switch means McCarthy will be known by his name rather than just an interchangeable designation, as the league continues to liberalize number assignments across positions. akupunkturabielsko.pl
