49ers Sign Dante Pettis to Practice Squad

The 49ers are signing wide receiver Dante Pettis to their practice squad, according to Jordan Schultz of The Schultz Report.

Pettis, 30, was originally drafted by the 49ers in 2018 and had 467 yards and five touchdowns as a rookie. He has since played for the Giants, Bears, and Saints after being waived by San Francisco during the 2020 season. chickenroadslot.pro

The move comes as injuries have decimated the 49ers' wide receiver room, with Ricky Pearsall out for the season, Christian Kirk still on injured reserve, and De'Zhaun Stribling and Demarcus Robinson missing time. The 49ers previously signed veteran Brandin Cooks to the practice squad last week.
