North Dakota State, moving up from FCS, secured its first FBS victory with a 33-7 win over Jacksonville State.

The Bison, tied 7-7 at halftime, outscored Jacksonville State 26-0 in the second half. The $17.5 million investment to join the Mountain West Conference fueled an electric atmosphere at the Fargodome.
