Tua Tagovailoa to Start Preseason Finale, Penix Jr. Out

Atlanta Falcons head coach Kevin Stefanski announced that Tua Tagovailoa will start the preseason finale against the Miami Dolphins, while rookie Michael Penix Jr. will not play.

Tua Tagovailoa will take the field first, followed by Cooper Rush and rookie Jack Strand. Stefanski noted Penix Jr. advanced to 11-on-11 drills this week but emphasized keeping the focus on the next few days of practice.

The coach stated he is not ready to name a Week 1 starter and wants to evaluate Penix further in team settings. rocore.sbs
