Longtime NFL coach Gansz Jr. dies at 64

Frank Gansz Jr., a veteran NFL special teams coach, has died at age 64. He recently served with the St. Louis Battlehawks.

Frank Gansz Jr., a longtime NFL special teams coordinator, has died at 64. He coached for the Oakland Raiders (1998-2000), Kansas City Chiefs (2001-2005), Baltimore Ravens (2006-2007) and most recently with the UFL's St. Louis Battlehawks. tbzikra.com

Gansz's father, Frank Gansz Sr., also coached special teams and won a Super Bowl ring with the Rams in 1999. The Battlehawks announced his death on Tuesday.
