Giants Sign JuJu Smith-Schuster

The New York Giants are signing wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster after a tryout, adding to their receiving corps that also includes Odell Beckham Jr. and Braxton Berrios.

The Giants found what they were looking for during a wide receiver tryout on Monday, signing former Steelers and Chiefs wideout JuJu Smith-Schuster, according to NFL Media. The moves come as the team waits for Malik Nabers to return from last season's torn ACL, with head coach John Harbaugh noting it's "impossible to predict" when Nabers will be fully cleared.

Smith-Schuster had 33 catches for 345 yards and a touchdown while appearing in all 17 games for Kansas City last season. His addition is particularly notable since Matt Nagy, who was the Chiefs' offensive coordinator during Smith-Schuster's time there, now holds the same position on Harbaugh's staff with the Giants. afsport.lat
