Jets LB McCrary-Ball Signs Tender

Jets linebacker Marcelino McCrary-Ball signed his exclusive rights tender on Wednesday, returning to the team after missing time with a hamstring injury in 2025.

Marcelino McCrary-Ball, 27, signed his tender as an exclusive rights free agent, according to the NFL's transactions wire. The linebacker missed time in 2025 after suffering a hamstring injury in Week 3 against the Buccaneers but returned late in the season, playing in two games with 23 tackles and a forced fumble.

McCrary-Ball joined the Jets' practice squad in 2023 after starting his career with the 49ers. In three seasons, he has played 109 defensive snaps and 363 on special teams, establishing himself as a valuable special teams contributor for the Jets.
