McCrane Kicks First UFL Four-Point FG

Matt McCrane kicked the first four-point field goal in UFL history, connecting from 60 yards for the D.C. Defenders against the St. Louis Battlehawks.

The 31-year-old kicker gave his team a 4-0 lead in the first quarter of Saturday's game. Despite McCrane's historic kick, the Battlehawks went on to win 16-10.

McCrane, who has experience in the NFL, XFL, and UFL, has been with the Defenders since 2023. The four-point field goal is one of the new rule changes implemented in the UFL's third season, adding a strategic element to third-down decisions, especially from long distances.
