Congo : La Fecofoot décline une réunion de dernière minute du ministr…

La Fédération de football du Congo (Fecofoot) a annoncé qu’elle ne participerait pas à la réunion convoquée par le ministère des Sports, prévue ce vendredi 10 avril 2026. Dans un communiqué publié jeudi, l’instance dirigeante du football congolais dénonce un non-respect des délais réglementaires et y voit une forme d’ingérence dans ses affaires internes.

Selon la Fédération de football du Congo (Fecofoot), l’invitation à cette rencontre n’a été notifiée officiellement que ce jeudi 9 avril 2026, aux alentours de midi, soit à peine 24 heures avant la tenue de la réunion. « Au regard du non-respect des délais et des procédures réglementaires en vigueur, la Fecofoot annonce qu’elle ne prendra pas part à cette réunion », indique le communiqué.

La Fédération de football du Congo (Fecofoot) va plus loin en estimant que cette convocation tardive « s’apparente à une ingérence du ministère des Sports dans ses affaires internes ». D’autres acteurs du football congolais, comme le Groupement du Football Féminin, auraient également exprimé leur intention de ne pas participer à cette réunion tripartite, soulignant un attachement commun au respect des textes régissant le sport.

“It’s an unfamiliar territory, I don’t think we’ve ever played a game there,” Ncikazi told Orlando Pirates TV.

“But that is not important, whatever field, as long as there’s a piece of land, we are prepared to go there and give it our best shot.

“Preparations, recovery and analysis – go to uMhlathuze get three points, that’s our responsibility and mandate. Nothing less!”
