To all appearances she lived a subtle life. Keeping herself to herself. Attending the local school and living with her mother and stepmother in a rather nice house. Then, she is violently murdered. Who did it? Who can be trusted? And who is not who they seem?
I absolutely devoured this book! So much so, I didn’t have a chance to up date my currently reading tab on here or twitter. So smartly written, with undertones of the sadness which fills some people’s lives. A variety of societal issues are explored and it makes you question the assumptions that we all inevitably make.
This book is everything you need for a fully shocking, satisfying and delicious read!
